The Temple exhibition concludes the year with a meeting of four prominent figures in Czech sculpture, whose careers began to take shape in a space limited by ideology and censorship. Gebauer, Hendrych, Švankmajer, and Zeithamml—each in their own way—have been creating a distinctive artistic language since the 1960s and shifting the understanding of classical sculpture.
