The installation of Stanislav Zábrodský at Polansky Gallery approaches technology as a historically layered and materially grounded process, where industrial, biological, and speculative temporalities intersect. Instead of a linear understanding of development, it engages with otherwise invisible material components as an open system of memory and latent relations, connecting industrial imagination with the mutable materiality of technologies. Stanislav Zábrodský studied in the Intermedia studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and in the Sculpture studio of Indonesian ISI Yogyakarta. In his current artistic practice, he focuses on working with composite materials, which he uses as synthetic simulations of time-spanning geological processes.
