The tradition continues, the 59th annual Prague–Prčice March will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 and will once again offer a wide range of routes for walkers and cyclists, from easy short options to a 70+ km route that starts directly from Prague, from the Háje metro station. This legendary long-distance march, which was created in 1966 and attracts thousands of hiking enthusiasts every year, offers the opportunity to walk from the metropolis across the Czech countryside to the finish in Sedlec–Prčice. The most famous march in the Czech Republic has been held since 1966. The length of the route from Prague to Prčice is 70 km, however, one can choose from different routes now. Participants crossing the finish line receive the well-known souvenir Prčický škrpál shoe. More
