The street festival will once again bring Prague to life at the beginning of June. Every year, the festival introduces busking — street art — to the general public. Buskers will fill the air with music under the open sky in small street tents and on sidewalks at around twenty locations not only in the city centre but also in streets, squares, and parks across Prague. While strolling through the city, you can enjoy performances by musicians of various genres — from pop, folk, rap, and jazz to brass bands and singer-songwriters. The Praha žije hudbou festival programme is free of charge. However, audiences can support the performers with voluntary “hat donations” on site, as is customary with busking. Fans can also support live culture in Prague by contributing to the festival’s organisation through purchasing a symbolic ticket via GoOut.
