After a year, Prague City Hall will open its doors to the public. On the occasion of the national holiday commemorating the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak state, several historical buildings will be open to the public free of charge on October 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. — the Residence of the Mayor of Prague, the New Town Hall with an extensive accompanying program, the Škoda Palace, the Clam-Gallas Palace, and the Municipal Library building. Reservations are required for the Mayor’s Residence and Clam-Gallas Palace. Reservations will be possible from October 7. The accompanying program will offer visitors a guided tour by Prague City Tourism called Prague’s Hidden Places — reservations from October 7 here — and yoga and tai chi lessons at the New Town Hall. Tours are available in Czech only, but Škoda Palace and the New Town Hall lounge can be visited without a reservation. More
