The annual orchid exhibition brings joy through a profusion of colourful blooms after the winter months, along with fascinating insights into these extraordinary plants. This year, we follow in the footsteps of explorers and growers, travelling back to the era of the very first Czech greenhouses and the beginnings of orchid collections. We will step into a time when ships set sail for the tropics, collectors were willing to pay astonishing sums for rare specimens, and caring for orchids was a daily adventure for castle gardeners. You can look forward to vibrant floral displays, as well as the traditional orchid sale, where you can choose your own exotic plant to take home.
