The Letná Pig will once again be connected with the Letná Carnival. You can experience the atmosphere of an old Czech pig slaughter and taste pig slaughter specialties at the Letná Pig or Pig Slaughter at the Museum event. The eighteenth edition of this unique event will not only satisfy your taste buds, but also test your skills and knowledge of traditions and introduce you to interesting facts about the butcher's guild. In addition, visitors can look forward to a day full of carnival masks, music, dancing, and a program for children. The event will include a carnival parade from Holešovice with its final stop at the National Agricultural Museum, workshops for young and old, and a rich accompanying program that will bring folk traditions to life in an authentic way. This year, during the Letná Pig & Letná Carnival event, you can once again look forward to popular culinary workshops in the gastro studio, where experienced instructors from the Old Guard of the Association of Chefs and Confectioners of the Czech Republic will teach you how to prepare pig slaughter specialties inspired by historical recipes.
