For 85 years, Stínadla has been inviting us on a unique adventure. Jaroslav Foglar's Stínadla trilogy, featuring the legendary characters of the Rychlé šípy (Fast Arrows), became the basis for the artistic work of Trutnov-based illustrator Jiří Grus. The exhibition mainly includes illustrations created over the last few years as official accompaniments to the Foglar book series published by Albatros. The exhibition will also present gouache paintings, drawings, and digital prints that are free creations, created as an echo of the illustrative work with a desire to explore and develop not only the formal possibilities of the artistic process, but also the meaning of Foglar's fictional world.
