Flowers will fill the courtyard of Ctěnice Castle during the annual spring celebration of the Gardeners’ Guild. The grounds will be filled with the scent of peonies, azaleas, and fresh herbs, along with a colorful selection of plants, ranging from perennials to rare trees. Beautiful music will set the perfect mood for the event. The day will be complemented by themed lectures, talks about the history of Ctěnice, and musical performances that will round out the pleasant atmosphere. A puppet show and creative “Playful Botany” lessons await the children, combining art activities, movement, and learning about plants. Food stands will be set up — just bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic in the castle grounds. The flower market will offer a wide selection of perennials. You’ll find English roses, peonies, azaleas, magnolias, balcony plants, and rock plants.
