The Prague Botanical Garden is preparing another edition of its popular butterfly exhibition, which this year will reveal to visitors a variety of evolutionary strategies and methods of adaptation. The exhibition Butterflies: The Art of Survival will open in the Fata Morgana greenhouse symbolically on Easter, April 2, and will run through May 17. As every year, over 5,000 butterfly chrysalises from various tropical regions will arrive in Prague, provided for the Troja Garden by a butterfly farm in Stratford-upon-Avon. The exhibition will also feature an interactive exhibit titled “The Secrets of Butterfly Life” in the exhibition hall of the Ornamental Garden, offering a completely new perspective on the unique world of butterflies. On weekends, visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at various creative activities during themed workshops. You can also enhance your visit to the butterfly exhibition on weekends and holidays with a guided tour, which is included in the admission price. Tours take place on weekends and holidays — April 3, April 6, May 1, and May 8 — every hour on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. More Datum und Uhrzeit Tue–Sun 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
