The Czech band Bass Clef Company, led by double bassist Vít Švec, will perform at a jazz evening at Jazz Republic. The band's leader is a double bassist acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, renowned for his inspiring jazz recordings and long musical career. Vít Švec has been active on the Czech scene since the 1980s, and his international experience is evident both in the band's improvisational energy and in the selection of repertoire, which combines jazz standards with distinctive arrangements. Bass Clef Company is the resident band at Jazz Republic, where it regularly performs as a four-piece jazz quartet made up of professional musicians. The club is open from 8 p.m. until midnight and, in addition to music, also offers drinks and Mexican-inspired snacks through the evening.
