Step into Kafka’s world, where bureaucracy is not just a word, but a living labyrinth. Alienation and absurdity become a mirror of your own hidden anxieties. Enter a space where existentialism is not merely an idea, but a question felt in every movement. Where transformation of the body and a sense of guilt meet a longing for autonomy. Experience a mysterious atmosphere in which Kafka is not just a story, but a living experience. Kafka’s world is a place where the individual stands alone against invisible systems of power. It is a space of inner pressure, constant self- questioning and a quiet fear with no clear source. Bureaucracy, authority and rules are not merely external forces, but become deeply internal — shaping the body, the mind and the sense of identity. Kafka explores the fragile boundary between guilt and innocence, freedom and control, transformation and stagnation. His characters are often trapped in situations they do not fully understand, yet are forced to obey, adapt and endure. This tension creates a world in which absurdity feels disturbingly familiar and reality slowly loses its certainty. In our interpretation, Kafka is not only a literary figure, but a living experience expressed through the body. Movement becomes a reflection of anxiety, resistance and the longing for autonomy. The body transforms, struggles, collapses and rises again — caught between obedience and the desire to break free. Kafka’s universe speaks directly to the present moment. It mirrors the modern individual navigating systems that are complex, impersonal and often overwhelming. Through dance and physical theatre, we invite the audience to enter this world — not as observers, but as participants who feel Kafka’s questions in their own bodies. Kafka is not a story from the past. Kafka is a state of mind. Kafka is alive. LampArt Company is a contemporary dance and theatre company based in Prague.
